Accessibility: An On-going Effort

Tuva’s Commitment to Accessibility

At Tuva we  are committed to making our data, graphing, and statistical tools accessible to learners with diverse cognitive and physical abilities. Data literacy is an essential skill for today's students.  Growing up in a data-driven world, they will need to be fluent with data to effectively engage in civic and professional life. We believe every student deserves the opportunity to develop these skills, so we are working hard to craft tools that enable all students to explore, manipulate and analyze data. Furthermore, in our pursuit of equity in education, we offer free access to the Tuva tools, ensuring that every student can engage with data without barriers.

Accessibility: An On-going Effort

We are working to ensure that our tools comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 AA. There is additional momentum in this work because of the progress we are making to bring Tuva tools into state and standardized assessments. Currently, we are undergoing an accessibility audit with the company Accessible Web. We are scheduled to receive results in summer of 2024 and will publish the report here when it is available.

We recognize that making Tuva inclusive is not a one-time effort, but an ever-evolving process. As requirements and technologies change, we will need to iterate. We welcome feedback about Tuva’s accessibility. Please send comments to:
