Ahead of time, develop questions equal to the number of groups that will be formed. Place each question at the top of a separate piece of chart paper. Hang the questions around the classroom.
Give each group a different colored writing utensil and assign them to a question/chart paper as their starting point. As a group, they answer the question.
Groups then rotate to the next question/chart paper. Optional: use a song or music as the cue for students to rotate.
At each of the questions they visit they can offer an alternative response, critique previous responses, or suggest edits.
After they have visited each station, have each group return to their starting point and reflect on what has been written. They will then share with the entire class.
