Hiding and unhiding attributes from the case card will allow you to reduce the number of visible attributes to make it easier for your students to pay attention to the attributes you want them to focus on.
While you can hide attributes on any dataset, this will be mainly important for datasets you've imported into Tuva and want to share with your students.
To hide and unhide attributes, follow the steps below.
- Near the top of the case card is an icon that looks like an eye with a slash going through it. Click on the eye.
- The Attribute Display Settings panel will appear over the case card listing all the attributes with checkboxes. Uncheck any attribute you want to hide from the case card.
- When you've finalized on your list of attributes, click the 'X' at the top right of the Attribute Display Settings panel. The case card will update to match your list.
If you've imported you're own dataset and are hiding its attributes, clicking 'Save' on the plot toolbar will create a new saved version of your dataset where the hidden attributes will not be immediately visible on the case card.
